Diego Pellicer Named after a famous American cannabis activist, Jack Herer, this Sativa dominant and Cannabis Cup Winning strain has always packed a punch when I’ve smoked it in flower form. This was my first time smoking it in oil, and I think Viva Cannabis came kind of close to capturing the magical essence of the Jack Herer strain. A cross of a Haze, Northern Lights #5, and Shiva Skunk, although this is just speculation as the true genetics are closely guarded, but every website I checked consistently listed these three strains with different fourth strains. This oil was especially hard to work with, even after throwing it in the freezer for a bit to loosen it off the parchment paper that it was attached to. The smoke was smooth and didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t taste great either. When I bought this oil, I wasn’t in a position to splurge, but I also reminded myself that even though it was a less expensive oil it could still pack quite the punch. This oil was alright. I found myself able to focus while jamming out to some reggae as I cooked my dinner. I should have smoked this earlier in the day so I might have had an even more productive afternoon. My mood was elevated and I found myself easily distracted, but able to focus on whatever I was doing. I played a ton of uplifting music, which amplified the euphoria from the oil. If you’re tight on cash and need some oil I would definitely head to Diego Pellicer in Seattle and pick up some Jack Herer from Viva Cannabis. The packaging was extremely confusing, the label matched the Wildfire Cannabis pictures that I was able to track down on Instagram, but when I checked the Diego Pellicer website it said it was from Viva Cannabis, which is also listed on the label.
